ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,357,557, issued on July 15, was assigned to L'OREAL (Paris).

"Composition comprising a (poly)carbodiimide compound and a coloring agent" was invented by Alexis Liard (Saint-Ouen, France).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a composition (C) for the treatment of keratin fibers, comprising at least one (poly)carbodiimide compound chosen from the compounds of formula (I), and at least one coloring agent chosen from pigments, direct dyes, and mixtures thereof."

The patent was filed on Nov. 19, 2020, under Application No. 17/778,352.
