ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,521,333, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to L'OREAL (Paris).
"Composition comprising compound of thiopyridinone type and polyglyceryl-based emulsifiers" was invented by Nicholas David Stebbins (Rahway, N.J.), David Chan (Oradell, N.J.) and Susan Halpern (Basking Ridge, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An oil-in-water cosmetic composition comprising: compound of thipyridinone type; one or more Polyglyceryl Fatty Acid Ester; an oil phase; and wherein the oil-in-water cosmetic composition is a macroemulsion and wherein the compound of thipyridinone type penetrates rapidly and in a high amount."
