ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,444,826, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to L'Garde Inc. (Tustin, Calif.).
"Compactable structures for deployment in space" was invented by Linden Bolisay (Fountain Valley, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems and methods described herein include collapsible and deployable antenna structures. The antenna structures may include any combination of shape memory composites, inflatable envelopes, and/or degradable materials."
The patent was filed on March 25, 2024, under Application No. 18/615,636.
