ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,479,669, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to KYOWA MANUFACTURING Co. LTD. (Hyogo, Japan).
"Stopper, roller conveyor, and belt conveyor" was invented by Takeru Narutaki (Hyogo, Japan) and Toshihiro Miyazaki (Hyogo, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A stopper according to the present invention stops an object moving along a travel path, and includes: a stop member for stopping the object; and a retractable unit that moves the stop member in and out of the travel path by a cam mechanism."
