ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,545,801, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to KYOCERA Corp. (Kyoto, Japan).
"Inkjet treatment solution, and inkjet printing device" was invented by Hiroko Sugimoto (Muko, Japan), Jumpei Hobo (Yamatokoriyama, Japan), Go Toriyama (Osaka, Japan) and Jun Hioki (Muko, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "One aspect of the present invention relates to an inkjet treatment liquid containing a water-soluble cationic polymer and an organic acid salt, wherein a content of the water-soluble cationic polymer is 0.1 wt % or more and less than 10 wt % with respect to the entire amount of the inkjet treatment liquid."
