ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,381,120, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to KYOCERA Corp. (Kyoto, Japan).
"Circuit base, and heat dissipation base or electronic device provided with same" was invented by Yuichi Abe (Satsumasendai, Japan) and Takeshi Muneishi (Kusatsu, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A circuit base of the present disclosure includes a base made of ceramic, a joint layer located on the base, and a metal layer located on the joint layer. The metal layer contains copper. The joint layer contains aluminum, silicon, and oxygen."
