"Spring guide and method of manufacturing spring guide" was invented by Kenta Kurihara (Aichi, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A spring guide made of fiber-reinforced resin, includes: a disc-shaped base portion configured to support a coil spring, the coil spring being configured to elastically support a vehicle body; and a barrel portion through which a cylinder of a shock absorber is inserted, in the barrel portion, the fiber-reinforced resin is oriented in a circumferential direction."
