According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An aerosol-generating article according to an embodiment of the disclosure includes: a tobacco rod; a filter rod located downstream of the tobacco rod; and a wrapper surrounding outer circumferential surfaces of the tobacco rod and the filter rod, wherein the tobacco rod includes: a structure supporting the wrapper in a transverse direction; and at least one channel formed between the wrapper and the structure."
