ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,239,594, issued on March 4, was assigned to Kreg Medical Inc. (Melrose Park, Ill.).

"Patient support with stand-up and sit features" was invented by Craig Poulos (Chicago), Carlos Portillo (Chicago) and Tho Thieu (Wood Dale, Ill.).
