ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,448,620, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to KORRO BIO INC. (Cambridge, Mass.).
"RNA-editing oligonucleotides and uses thereof" was invented by Andrew W. Fraley (Arlington, Mass.), Steven Robinette (Fremont, N.H.), Nessan Bermingham (Boston) and Mallikarjuna Reddy Putta (Lexington, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure features useful compositions and methods to treat disorders for which deamination of an adenosine in an mRNA produces a therapeutic result."
The patent was filed on Aug. 5, 2022, under Application No. 17/817,874.
