ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,420,254, issued on Sept. 23, was assigned to KOREA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND EDUCATION INDUSTRY-UNIVERSITY COOPERATION FOUNDATION (Cheonan-si, South Korea).

"Conductive hydrogel containing metal-organic framework and preparation method thereof" was invented by Hyeong Min Yoo (Cheonan-si, South Korea), Luqman Ali Shah (Peshawar, Pakistan) and Mansoor Khan (Peshawar, Pakistan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Proposed is a conductive hydrogel including a micelle and a metal-organic framework/surfactant composite."

The patent was filed on Dec. 29, 2023, under Application No. 18/399,971.
