ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,295,363, issued on May 13, was assigned to KOP-COAT INC. (Pittsburgh).
"Granulated agricultural adjuvant and method of making and using same" was invented by Ronald W. Clawson Jr. (Trafford, Pa.), Bruce W. Dawson (Williamstown, Australia) and Saddam Hussain (Truganina, Australia).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A granulated defoamer has a dry ammonium sulfate which has been combined with a mixture of at least two of the following materials, anionic surfactant, an organic acid and a defoamer. The method of creating the granulated defoamer and the method of using the same in agricultural spraying of vegetation."
