ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,363,729, issued on July 15, was assigned to Koninklijke Philips N.V. (Eindhoven, Netherlands).

"Joint resource pools for uplink communications" was invented by Khaled Shawky Hassan Hussein (Erlangen, Germany), Thomas Wirth (Kleinmachnow, Germany), Thomas Fehrenbach (Berlin) and Thomas Haustein (Potsdam, Germany).
