ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. PP36,657, issued on May 6, was assigned to Koning & Koning B.V. (Netherlands).
"Curio plant named 'Stelvio'" was invented by Geu Koning (Westerbork, Netherlands).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct variety of Curio plant named 'Stelvio' is disclosed, characterized by a neat, upright, and compact growth habit, and dense, full foliage with thick, strong stems. The new variety is a Curio, typically produced as ornamental plants."
The patent was filed on Sept. 3, 2024, under Application No. 18/823,410.
