ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,366,059, issued on July 22, was assigned to Kohler Mira Ltd. (Cheltenham, Great Britain).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An ablutionary fitting includes an outlet for providing a stream of water and a dispersing barrier arranged in the stream, such that the liquid passing through the dispersing barrier is broken up into a plurality of smaller streams, forming a spray, wherein the smaller streams are at least in part directed by the dispersing barrier."
