US Patent Issued to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals on Nov. 25 for "Method of producing hydrogen from ammonia" (Saudi Arabia Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,479,721, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia).

"Method of producing hydrogen from ammonia" was invented by M. Shaikh NASIRUZZAMAN (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia), Mohammad Usman (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia) and Zain Hassan Yamani (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method of producing hydrogen from ammonia includes exposing ammonia to a rare-earth/NiO/Al2O3 nanocomposite material.
