ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,500,042, issued on Dec. 16, was assigned to KING FAHD UNIVERSITY OF PETROLEUM AND MINERALS (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia).

"Solid-state hybrid supercapacitor with nickel-cobalt-layered double hydroxide nanoflowers supported on jute stick-derived activated carbon nanosheets" was invented by Syed Shaheen Shah (Nishikyo-ku, Japan), Md. Abdul Aziz (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia) and Zain Hassan Yamani (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia).
