ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,242,954, issued on March 4, was assigned to Kinaxis Inc. (Ottawa).
"Interactive machine learning" was invented by Chantal Bisson-Krol (Kanata, Canada), Zhen Lin (Kanata, Canada), Ishan Amlekar (Ottawa), Kevin Shen (Ottawa), Seyednaser Nourashrafeddin (Ottawa) and Sebastien Ouellet (Ottawa).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A computer-implemented method of interactive machine learning in which a user is provided with predicted results from a trained machine learning model. The user can take the predicted results and adjust the predicted data to retrain the model."
