ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,415,336, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Kimberly-Clark Worldwide Inc. (Neenah, Wis.).

"Dispersible adhesively bonded tissue laminate" was invented by Robert S. Monson (Appleton, Wis.), Nicholas S. Wolter (Greenville, Wis.) and Daniel M. Piette (Neenah, Wis.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed is a dispersible adhesively bonded wet tissue laminate and more particularly a dispersible wet wipe comprising two or more adhesively bonded tissue plies.
