US Patent Issued to KIDDE TECHNOLOGIES on Feb. 18 for "Fabry-perot based advanced pneumatic fire/overheat detector" (Indian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,228,459, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to KIDDE TECHNOLOGIES INC. (Wilson, N.C.).

"Fabry-perot based advanced pneumatic fire/overheat detector" was invented by Elbert Jeyapaul (Bangalore, India) and Thambiraj Avudaiappan (Kannamangala, India).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A fire or overheat detection device includes a diaphragm adjacent to a chamber with a gas inside the chamber, wherein the diaphragm contacts the gas.
