ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,476,385, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to KIDDE FIRE PROTECTION LLC (Bradenton, Fla.).
"Modified radar antenna array" was invented by Mateusz Mazur (Sopot, Poland).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A patch antenna comprises a radiating microstrip patch element; and a ground layer electromagnetically connected to the patch element, wherein the ground layer is configured such that a radiation pattern of the patch antenna comprises a beam perpendicular to the antenna aperture, and a sub-beam parallel to the antenna aperture."
The patent was filed on Aug. 10, 2023, under Application No. 18/448,129.
