ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,307,025, issued on May 20, was assigned to Kibeam Learning Inc. (Oakland, Calif.).

"Determining tap locations on a handheld electronic device based on inertial measurements" was invented by Nelson George Publicover (Bellingham, Wash.), Alexander Paul Barangan (Felton, Calif.), Lewis James Marggraff (Lafayette, Calif.) and Marc Michael Thomas (Mokelumne Hill, Calif.).
