ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,493,360, issued on Dec. 9, was assigned to Key Lights LLC (Cedar Park, Texas).

"Computer keyboard with electronically changeable keycaps" was invented by Mark Norwalk (Austin, Texas) and Chris Linegar (Sydney).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to systems, apparatuses, and methods for the projection of images onto keycaps of a computer keyboard."
