ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,551,050, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to Keurig Green Mountain Inc. (Burlington, Mass.).

"Beverage machine with capsule imaging" was invented by Nicholas George Ioannidis (Tewksbury, Mass.), Robert Dana Cassano (Natick, Mass.) and Joseph George Fucci (Amherst, N.H.).
