ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,390,924, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to Kawasaki Jukogyo K.K. (Kobe, Japan).
"Current limiting device, robot system, and current limiting method" was invented by Masataka Tanabe (Kobe, Japan), Shinji Kajihara (Kobe, Japan) and Kenta Nakamura (Kobe, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A current limiting device includes a current limiter to limit a current to be carried to a drive within a range of a limit value. The limit value is set to change according to a speed of the drive."
