ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,478,857, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to Karsten Manufacturing Corp. (Phoenix).

"Multi-material skateboard deck" was invented by Justin A. Paselk (Phoenix), Jordan D. Shoenhair (Scottsdale, Ariz.), John A. Solheim (Phoenix) and Dylan R. Cappello (Charlotte, N.C.).
