ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,253,244, issued on March 18, was assigned to JumpLights Inc. (Gaithersburg, Md.).
"LED light assembly with bent PCB" was invented by Matteo Power Del Ninno (North Bethesda, Md.) and John Rupp Peeler (Clarksburg, Md.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A light fixture, including: a printed circuit board (PCB) extending in a first direction, the PCB includes bends along one or more sides extending in the first direction for rigidity; the PCB configured to transfer thermal heat directly to ambient air; and one or more groups of light emitting diodes (LEDs) operatively coupled to a component-side of the PCB and between the bends."
