ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,472,617, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to JS Products Inc. (Las Vegas).

"Vibration damper for hand-operated striking tools" was invented by Jared W. Hanlon (Las Vegas) and Chungeng Chen (Las Vegas).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A striking tool has a vibration damper in the form of a vibration damping core located between a top end of the hand a head thereof, and an overstrike assembly in the form of an overstrike sleeve located over the core below the head."

The patent was filed on Nov. 14, 2022, under Application No. 17/986,467.
