ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,288,885, issued on April 29, was assigned to JOHNSON MATTHEY HYDROGEN TECHNOLOGIES Ltd. (London).

"Electrocatalyst ink" was invented by Adam Hodgkinson (Swindon, Great Britain) and Alejandro Martinez Bonastre (Reading, Great Britain).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides a method of preparing an electrocatalyst ink, the method comprising a step of contacting a dispersion with a base metal-binding agent."
