ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,415,028, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision Inc. (Irvine, Calif.).

"Automatic control of phacoemulsification needle trajectory" was invented by Assaf Govari (Haifa, Israel), Christopher Thomas Beeckler (Brea, Calif.), Vadim Gliner (Haifa, Israel), Ilya Sitnitsky (Nahariya, Israel) and Amit Fuchs (Hogla, Israel).
