ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 4 -- United States Patent no. 12,319,668, issued on June 3, was assigned to Jnana Therapeutics Inc. (Boston).

"Small molecule inhibitors of mammalian SLC6A19 function" was invented by Dean G. Brown (Hollis, N.H.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed are compounds, compositions, and methods useful for treating or preventing a disease or disorder associated with abnormal levels of amino acids by modulation of SLC6A19 transport."
