US Patent Issued to Jie Han on Jan. 20 for "Bioreversable promoieties for nitrogen-containing and hydroxyl-containing drugs" (Indiana Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,528,852, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to Jie Han (Bloomington, Ind.).

"Bioreversable promoieties for nitrogen-containing and hydroxyl-containing drugs" was invented by Jie Han (Bloomington, Ind.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed are promoieties of the following formula which can be used to form prodrugs of nitrogen-containing or hydroxyl-containing drug or a pharmaceutically active agent:and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the prodrugs."

The patent was filed on Oct. 19, 2023, under Application No. 18/490,174.
