ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,290,611, issued on May 6, was assigned to Japan Vam & Poval Co. Ltd. (Osaka, Japan) and National University Corporation Tohoku University (Miyagi, Japan).

"Cell or tissue embedding device" was invented by Akinobu Oharuda (Sakai, Japan), Yoshihiro Kimura (Sakai, Japan) and Masafumi Goto (Sendai, Japan).
