ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,282,217, issued on April 22, was assigned to Japan Display Inc. (Tokyo).

"Display device" was invented by Hiroki Sugiyama (Tokyo), Kentaro Okuyama (Tokyo), Yoshihide Ohue (Tokyo) and Yuuji Oomori (Tokyo).
