ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,277,283, issued on April 15, was assigned to Japan Display Inc. (Tokyo).

"Display device" was invented by Koji Noguchi (Tokyo), Masaki Murase (Tokyo), Yasushi Nakano (Tokyo) and Koji Ishizaki (Tokyo).
