ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,399,138, issued on Aug. 26, was assigned to James R. Glidewell Dental Ceramics Inc. (Newport Beach, Calif.).
"CT scanner calibration" was invented by Sergey Nikolskiy (Coto de Caza, Calif.), Fedor Chelnokov (Khimki, Russia) and Grant Karapetyan (Moscow).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system and method can determine one or more CT scanner calibration parameters from a plurality of calibration object projections in a plurality of radiographs."
The patent was filed on April 25, 2024, under Application No. 18/645,781.
