ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,459,653, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Iwaya Inc. (Japan).

"Apparatus and system for regulating cabin pressure of flight craft, and flight craft equipped to regulate cabin pressure" was invented by Keisuke Iwaya (Ebetsu, Japan) and Kazuya Sajiki (Ebetsu, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An apparatus is provided for regulating air pressure in an internal space of an airtight cabin that accommodates living beings (objects) for transport in a flight craft, comprising: a container; and a moveable partition member that airtightly partitions an internal space of the container into a first space open to the internal space of the airtight...
