US Patent Issued to Ivoclar Vivadent on July 29 for "Storage-stable dental adhesive set for use with peroxidically and hydroperoxidically redox-initiated composites" (Austrian, German Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,370,129, issued on July 29, was assigned to Ivoclar Vivadent AG (Schaan, Liechtenstein).

"Storage-stable dental adhesive set for use with peroxidically and hydroperoxidically redox-initiated composites" was invented by Thorsten Bock (Feldkirch, Austria), Thomas Kohler (Reichenau, Germany) and Michael Barbisch (Klaus, Austria).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Dental adhesive set which contains an adhesive and an applicator which is coated with a vanadium(IV) salt."

The patent was filed on March 22, 2022, under Application No. 17/701,034.
