ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,471,593, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to ISCA Technologies Inc. (Riverside, Calif.).

"Methods and compositions for controlling tomato leaf miner, Tuta absoluta" was invented by Agenor Mafra-Neto (Riverside, Calif.), Rodrigo Oliveira Da Silva (Riverside, Calif.) and Rafael Borges (Riverside, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Compositions and methods for affecting Tuta absoluta. The compositions are kairomone blends that attract male and female Tuta absoluta. The compositions may further include a pesticide."
