ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,303,275, issued on May 20, was assigned to iRhythm Technologies Inc. (San Francisco).
"Physiological monitoring device" was invented by Timothy J. Bahney (San Francisco), Hung H. Ho (San Francisco), Shena H. Park (San Francisco), Genaro S. Sepulveda (San Francisco), Mark J. Day (San Francisco) and Yuriko Tamura (Belmont, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a physiological monitoring device. Some embodiments of the invention allow for long-term monitoring of physiological signals. Further embodiments may also allow for the monitoring of secondary signals such as motion."
