ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,431,482, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Ionblox Inc. (Fremont, Calif.).

"Silicon oxide based high capacity anode materials for lithium ion batteries" was invented by Haixia Deng (Fremont, Calif.), Yongbong Han (San Francisco), Charan Masarapu (Fremont, Calif.), Yogesh Kumar Anguchamy (Newark, Calif.), Herman A.
