ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,355,079, issued on July 8, was assigned to Ionblox Inc. (Fremont, Calif.).
"Lithium ion cells with silicon based active materials and negative electrodes with water-based binders having good adhesion and cohesion" was invented by Kevin Hays (Fremont, Calif.), Subramanian Venkatachalam (Pleasanton, Calif.) and Herman A. Lopez (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
