ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,544,204, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to INVO Fertility Inc. (Sarasota, Fla.).
"Intravaginal culture incubation container and method" was invented by Lori H. Kahler (Lincoln, R.I.), Kevin J. Doody (Bedford, Texas) and John E. Walsh (Norfolk, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Intravaginal culture (IVC) container for intravaginal fertilization and culture of mammalian, and in particular human, oocytes, featuring an increased volume, and a method of using the same."
The patent was filed on Nov. 20, 2020, under Application No. 16/949,960.
