ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,297,275, issued on May 13, was assigned to Invectys SA (Paris).

"Chimeric antigen receptors against multiple HLA-G isoforms" was invented by Maria Loustau (Paris), Francois Anna (Bourg la Reine, France), Pierre Langlade Demoyen (Neuilly-sur-seine, France) and Julien Caumartin (Le Vesinet, France).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to chimeric antigen receptors (CAR) against multiple but not all human leukocyte antigen (HLA-G) isoforms. More specifically, the invention concerns CARs that are specific for HLA-G Beta2M-free or Beta2M-associated immunosuppressive isoforms respectively."
