ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,349,980, issued on July 8, was assigned to INTUITIVE SURGICAL OPERATIONS INC. (Sunnyvale, Calif.).

"Alerting and mitigating divergence of anatomical feature locations from prior images to real-time interrogation" was invented by Leah Muller (San Francisco), Paris A. Hajali Jr. (Tustin, Calif.) and Hui Zhang (San Jose, Calif.).
