US Patent Issued to INTERVET on March 4 for "Vaccination with replicon particles and oil adjuvant" (American, Dutch Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,239,702, issued on March 4, was assigned to INTERVET INC. (Rahway, N.J.).

"Vaccination with replicon particles and oil adjuvant" was invented by Mark A. Mogler (Ames, Iowa), Erin Strait (Spring Hill, Kan.) and Ruud Philip Antoon Maria Segers (Boxmeer, Netherlands).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to vaccination against animal pathogens using alphavirus-replicon RNA particles and oil adjuvants.
