US Patent Issued to International Business Machines on Nov. 25 for "Scalable magnetically controlled qubit" (Swiss Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,484,458, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to International Business Machines Corp. (Armonk, N.Y.).

"Scalable magnetically controlled qubit" was invented by Michele Aldeghi (Cadro, Switzerland), Rolf Allenspach (Adliswil, Switzerland) and Gian R. von Salis (Aeugst am Albis, Switzerland).
