ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,475,927, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to International Business Machines Corp. (Armonk, N.Y.).

"Tape drive cleaning device" was invented by Peter Walter Wendler (Tucson, Ariz.), Shawn M. Nave (Tucson, Ariz.), Mark Raper (Tucson, Ariz.) and Gregory Goodman (Tucson, Ariz.).
