ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,267,165, issued on April 1, was assigned to InterDigital Patent Holdings Inc. (Wilmington, Del.).

"Polar coding systems, procedures, and signaling" was invented by Chunxuan Ye (San Diego), Fengjun Xi (San Diego), Sungkwon Hong (Seoul, South Korea), Kyle Jung-Lin Pan (Saint James, N.Y.) and Robert L. Olesen (Huntington, N.Y.).
