ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,430,838, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Intel Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Read sampler feedback technology" was invented by Daniel Johnston (Portland, Ore.) and Yoav Harel (Carmichael, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods, systems and apparatuses may provide for technology that reads data from a sampler feedback resource based on coordinates relative to a paired texture that was used to generate the sampler feedback data."

The patent was filed on Nov. 3, 2021, under Application No. 17/518,292.
